Acquaintance by touch

Put a small plastic rattle in your baby’s hand. Change the hand after a while.

Then put a soft wool cloth in your baby’s hand, a wipe, a piece of burlap. Change the objects and fabrics till your little one shows interest.

This task stimulates the development of finger sensitivity, your baby acquires the experience of a variety of tactile sensations.
