Playing with ribbons and laces

To arrange this beneficial sensory game you'll need:

• ribbons of different textures and colors;
• colored laces;
• braided ropes;
• bright floss threads, etc.

Give your little one various ribbons and laces, let him/her explore them. When the little one holds a ribbon, twist it gently, try to pull the ribbon out of your baby's fist. Your baby will probably try to catch the edge of the ribbon!

Playing with threads and laces helps your little one use his/her fingers, holding little things with the whole fingers or with fingertips.These skills are extremely important for the baby’s further development.
