Learning new actions

Learning new actions often occurs intuitively, because Mom and Dad know their little one well and adapts to his/her perceptual features.
There are 3 steps of getting new skills:

• The adult names the new action and performs it with the baby (for example,takes the baby's hand and wave with it, saying
• The adult shows the baby how to perform the action, demonstrating the process;
• The baby performs the action when the adult asks him/her.
