Draw African patterns with your kid using pastels

Africa is an interesting and mysterious continent. There are still wild African tribes living there, and amazing animals are roaming the savannah.

Africa is famous for striking African ornaments. Juicy colors and a great variety of patterns can't leave anyone indifferent.

Colors play an important role in African ornaments. Mainly used beige, turquoise, yellows, red, white, orange, black, pink, purple, all shades of green grass, ie all the colors of the African savannah.

Offer your kid to draw African ornaments, using pastels. Motives and the examples of patterns can be found in books or on the Internet.

You'll need:

• a set of pastels;
• thick rough or fleecy paper;
• a damp cloth for hands.

Divide the sheet of paper into several strips. In each strip draw your pattern.

To fix the pastels on the sheet, you can use special sprays or an ordinary lock hairspray.

Make photos of the process and the pictures your youngster managed to draw, upload to the App. Add some words about your impressions and write whether your kid liked the African ornaments.
