Developing cube

5 months

Sew your little one a developing toy - he/she will surely like it!

Playing with the cube is beneficial for hand-eye coordination, sensory sensitivity and helps your baby learn different colors, textures, etc.

You'll need:

  • 6 different pieces of fabric (with different textures and colors);
  • syntepon or foam rubber for filling;
  • buttons, ribbons, pieces of fabric, brooches and so on;
  • scissors;
  • thread, needles (or a sewing machine);
  • iron,
  • flizelin.

Cut from the fabric 6 squares (with the side about 15 cm) of different textures and/or colors.

Cut out appropriately sized squares of flizelin and attach them to the flip side of the fabric pieces with an iron.

Decorate each part of your future cube as you wish - with buttons, ribbons, decorative flowers, fabric applique, etc.

Then sew all the details together, making a cube.

Fill the toy with syntepon.

You can also put rustling paper or a little bell inside.

All the decorative details must be attached tightly - check the toy every time you give it to the baby! Playing with the toy is allowed only under adult supervision.

Make photos of your baby playing with the new toy you've crafted, upload to the App. Write whether he/she liked the cube.
