Make your baby a magic box with colored scraps

Here's a quick and easy way to entertain your little one for a half an hour!
You'll need:

• an old shoe box;
• ribbon, tape or rope (1.5 m);
• some pieces of fabrics of different texture and color (about 15x15 cm);
• an awl

Make a hole in the centre of the box lid with an awl. Tie the fabric scraps to the ribbon tightly. Then put the rope to the box, leaving her "tail" outside.

Offer your little one to pull the ribbon until the first scrap appears. Unexpectedly, the almost magical appearance of the colored scrap will evoke lots of your baby's joyful emotions!

Describe the color and texture of the fabric for your little one, offer him or her to view and touch it. Pull the ribbon again and find the next scrap!

This game is good for developing fine motor skills, hand coordination, and sensory skills. It will help your child learn colors and names of fabrics.
