Offer your little one to play with clews of different threads - cotton, wool, linen, silk, etc, - colours and size.
Let them reel them off and on, touch, throw and roll on the floor.
NB! The yarns should be thick enough, so that they can't harm and cut your baby's little fingers. Playing with thread must be arranged only under adult supervision!
