Educational Toy - “Turnip”

Make a simple educational toy with your own hands that’ll help your baby strengthen their hands and develop fine motor skills.

from 9 months to 1 year 6 months

Make an educational toy for your baby.

You will need:

  • thick cardboard;
  • scissors, scotch tape;
  • clothespins for linen.

  1. Cut a turnip out of yellow cardboard.
  2. Cover it with transparent tape.
  3. Make the turnip leaves out of green clothespins.

Other fruits and veggies can be made this way as well.

Give your baby the toy. Show them how to remove clothespins and attach them back. Let them try on their own. At first, the baby will only take them off, but then learn how to attach them again. This game perfectly develops and strengthens your baby's hands.

Take a photo of your child while playing, upload the photo to the application. Briefly write about whether or not they liked the toy.
