Sew with your kid a hat and a scarf for toys

Offer your little one to sew a hat and a scarf for her favourite doll or his favourite teddy bear!

You'll need:

• pieces of soft fabric (for example, fleece);
• scissors, threads, needles;
• buttons, ribbons, tapes - for decorating.

Offer your little one to choose the fabric and its color. Your little one will also manage to help you in the last step with decorating the hat and the scarf.

Show your kid how to thread the needle, how to take measurements, make patterns and cut out the things you are going to sew. To make the scarf pattern, take the doll or the bear and measure it to define the scarf desirable length and width. Cut out a strip of fabric of the appropriate size, offer your kid to decorate it.

Make a hat pattern, measuring the toy's head, and sew it. Also decorate the hat with your little one.
