Make with your kid bouquet of paper flowers

So pretty craft to make with your kid!

You'll need:


  • paper;
  • watercolors (or gouache), a brush, a jar of water;
  • scissors;
  • a small piece of thick felt (or buttons);
  • chenille wire;
  • small sticks;
  • acrylic paints;
  • peas or beans;
  • an awl;
  • a jute rope.

1. First at all, take the watercolors or gouache and color the white paper sheets in bright colors.

2. Let your coloured paper dry and cut out of the sheets flower petals. You'll need about 5-7 petals for each paper flower.

3. Make a hole in the bottom of the petals with an awl. Fasten the petals together with the chenille wire. Fix the wire end with a button or a small piece of felt.

4. Also, make a loop on the back side of the flower.

5. To make the flower stem just wrap the long end of the wire around a thin wooden stick, as it is shown on the photo:

6. Pour the beans or peas to a glass jar. It will help you to place the flowers in the "vase".

7. Decorate the jar with a jute rope.
