Christmas holidays are coming, and it is difficult to imagine cozy family evenings without candles! To make your holidays safe, craft the flashlights with your kid - he/she will definitely like the process.
You'll need:
- various candles;
- glass containers (jars, bowls, vases, etc.);
- colored ribbons;
- fir, juniper or pine branches;
- glass stones, beads and other decorative fillers;
- water.
- Clean and dry the containers.
- Then show your kid how to fix high candles at the containers' bottoms with liquid wax or paraffin. Let your kid make it.
- You can also use floating candles.
- Put stones and beads into the containers. Pour some water and add several branches.
- Tie the container's neck with a bright ribbon.
The flashlights are ready! To light the candlewicks, use a long wooden stick. Decorate your Christmas table with the flashlights!
NB! Do not place the open fire on a window sill or surfaces with curtains or decorations! Explain the safety rules to your kid!
