Edible sensory boxes

5 months

Make for your baby sensory boxes with edible fillers. Playing with them, your little one develops fine motor skills, movement coordination and gets new tactile experiences.

You'll need:

  • various cereals;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • flour;
  • starch;
  • boiled pasta, spaghetti  (cooled);
  • popcorn;
  • breakfast cereals - stars, balls, pads, corn flakes;
  • baby biscuits;
  • raisins;
  • frozen vegetables (for a hot day if your baby is not ill), etc.

Put the fillers into the boxes and let the little one explore them:

  • Put the box on the table. Take your baby up and sit next to it, holding your baby's chest so that the baby doesn't load his/her spine with their entire weight.
  • Put the box on the floor. Lay your baby on their tummy, place a rolled towel under his/her chest.

NB! Playing with the sensory boxes is allowed only under adult supervision! Don't allow the baby to swallow pieces, as he/she can choke.

Make photos of the process, upload to the App. Write about your baby's impressions and what fillers he/she liked most at all.
