Funny snakes

6 months

Make your little one a funny craft to introduce them to the concept of "long-short".

You'll need:

  • cardboard;
  • colored velvet paper;
  • scissors;
  • felt pens;
  • glue.

Cut out from your velvet paper several snakes of various lengths and colors.

Glue them onto the carboard - the longest snake should be the first, the shortest one should be the last.

Draw the snakes' eyes and body patterns using felt pens.

Look at the applique with your baby - explain what the little one can see, let him/her touch the snakes with their fingers and with their whole palm. Explain that the red snake, for example, is the longest, and the blue one is the shortest.

You can even invent a story about the funny snakes!

Make photos of your baby viewing the craft, upload to the App. Write how you use it to entertain the little one.
