Sensory box

Sensory box

8 months

Make a sensory box for your little one - playing with the toy, your baby will develop sensory skills and hand-eye coordination.
You'll need:

  • a box with a lid (cardboard or plastic);
  • wrapping paper (or colored adhesive tape);
  • scissors, glue.

Wrap your box with the wrapping paper and fix it.
If you decorate the box with adhesive tape, cut it out small pieces and attach to the box, making a geometric pattern.
Put various pieces of materials and textures into the box:

  • birchbark;
  • rubber;
  • plastic;
  • polyurethane;
  • polyethylene;
  • fibreboard;
  • particleboard;
  • cardboard;
  • corrugated cardboard;
  • wrapping paper;
  • fur;
  • velvet;
  • lace;
  • corduroy;
  • sandpaper;
  • synthetic leather;
  • suede;
  • felt, etc.

Let your baby explore what is hidden in the box, name the materials, offer the little one to touch them.
Make photos of your baby playing with the sensory box, upload to the App. Write whether you both liked it.
