Make the Montessori fasteners for your toddler

3 to 5 years

You'll need the following thing to make the fasteners:

  • a frame, a board or an embroidery frame;
  • pieces of fabrics;
  • threads, needles, scissors;
  • various fasteners: velcro, hooks, zipper, laces, etc .;
  • tapes, ribbons, buttons, beads, etc .;
  • a sewing machine.

Crafting the frames with fasteners is a creative process, you'll really need your imagination and fantasy.

First at all, pull the coloured fabric to the frame or the board.

Then sew the fasteners to the fabric.

You can make it as a book for your toddler's development.

Inside the book you can hide various creative appliques, beads on the ribbons and tapes, small details with velcro, etc.
