The social development of preschool children is, first of all, adaptation to the conditions of an unfamiliar world. During the first years of life, a baby’s personality is formed, and social experience has a great influence over this.

The basic principles of social education are laid out in kindergarten, but to interact with other children, to interact with adults, the child begins learning much earlier. In order for communication to be easier for a kid, proper social education in the family is necessary. Children copy a lot from their parents, including - the style of communication and attitude toward other people, and patterns of behavior in different situations. At a younger age, socialization takes the form of adaptation and imitation - note which games your children play.

It may sound unpleasant, but the main mistakes in social and moral education of children are not formed by society, but by parents.

Social education in children is based on trust. The first adult to whom the baby experiences this feeling is their mother - she feeds and cares for them. If in the first months of life the mother shows anxiety and there is a lot of tension in the house, there is a high probability that the baby will develop a basic mistrust of the world, and this may even slow down their mental development.

Social skills are especially actively mastered by children when they begin to walk. A child has a sense of independence. And if during this period parents are punishing them for every prank, they often scolded, they are ashamed, a kid can lose confidence. Also, entrepreneurship, initiative, curiosity can disappear if parents suppress a child at the age of 3-5. At this time, it is important to pay special attention to games in order to avoid the formation of passivity, uncertainty and a false sense of guilt in the child's character.

It should be borne in mind that for the socialization of preschool children, both lack of control, rejection and coldness in the family, as well as excessive care, education in an atmosphere of increased responsibility are equally harmful. To communicate with the world, a child must feel that their parents love them, respect them, trust them and believe in them.

Correct social and moral education for children allows us to avoid problems in the teenage period and to maintain good relations in the family.
