Draw the Sunset in the mountains

Offer your kid to draw a beautiful sunset in the mountains with pastel - he/she will surely like it!

Drawing with pastel is an exciting experience, your pictures will be bright and airy.

You'll need:

• a set of pastels;
• thick rough or fleecy paper (rough sheet holds better the particles of pastels).

First at all, explain to your kid how to draw with pastels - the crayons are fragile.

Offer him/her to draw lines of various thickness on a white sheet of paper before starting to draw the sunset.

Let your kid train for a while, drawing lines and mixing colors.

Start your picture with drawing the evening sky - use bright colors from vinous to yellow.Shade the colors with fingers, mix them.

Then take a black pastel and draw the mountains silhouette:

Color the mountains with dark pastels.

Also shade the colors with fingers.

When your picture is ready, fix pastel with special spray or just use your hair spray.

Let it dry.
