Color a pumpkin with a stamp for Halloween

Your kid will surely like this fun Halloween activity!

You'll need:

• thick paper;
• a black wax crayon;
• gouache, a brush, a jar of water;
• a round foam rubber stamp;
• a small cup or a lid.

Before starting, take books and magazines with bright Halloween pictures, view them with your little one.

Pay attention to pumpkins in the pictures and photos, discuss their shapes, size and colors.

Offer your kid to play with a real pumpkin - let him/her touch it, clap with palms, roll, etc.

You can even read funny poetry about Halloween and various stories about the harvest.

Then take a black wax crayon and draw a big pumpkin on a thick sheet of paper.

Take a foam rubber stamp and show him/her how to make prints on the picture, coloring the pumpkin.

Mix red and yellow paints to get orange.

Let your kid color the whole picture with the stamp!
