Jars for gifts

Ask your kid to make a cute jar full of gifts for his/her friend or relative!

You'll need:

• cardboard cylindrical jar of potato chips;
• white acrylic paint;
• varnish for decoupage;
• flat brush;
• paper napkins with beautiful patterns;
• scissors.

Cover the cardboard jar with 2-3 layers of white acrylic paint, let it dry.

Cut out from paper napkins appropriate patterns with scissors.

Choose simple patterns, the images shouldn't be too big.

You'll need only one colored layer of napkins, so separate it from the others.

Place the image on the jar and cover it with varnish, moving your brush from the middle of the picture to its edges.

Let the varnish dry, then cover the picture with 2 more layers of varnish. 

Use your imagination and be creative.

In the end, you'll get a pretty craft to keep little things inside or to hide gifts!
