Growing green onions at home with your kid

Green onions are the perfect addition to almost every dish and they can be used in so many ways.  Whether it is a baked potato topping, garnish on a steak, used in an asian inspired dish, a soup… the list is endless. 
Grow them with your kid at home!

All you have to do is to buy an initial bunch from the supermarket, and place them in a glass of water.

Place them in the sunniest part of your home you have and watch them regrow!

You can even make a diary of observations, monitoring and fixing the length of the green leaves and roots!
You can also plant them in soil and it would have the same effect.
