Make a pair of binoculars together with your kid. A sweet handmade art project is the perfect gift for dad, grandpa or siblings, especially on their birthdays.
To start, you'll need the following materials:
- Two cardboard toilet paper rolls;
- Cardboard;
- Scissors;
- Glue (Stapler);
- Rope;
- Gouache, a brush, and a jar of water.
1. Using a few pieces of cardboard, staple the two toilet paper tubes together, so that they look like a pair of binoculars.
2. On the sides of the tubes, make holes and insert a string so that the binoculars can be worn around your neck.
3. Now, paint the binoculars with some green gouche.
4. When the green paint dries, paint some brown and black spots on top to make a camouflage pattern.
Once that dries, our binoculars are ready!
