Maintain curiosity

under 8 years

When we buy toys, we often show kids how to play with them. When they’re given something new, we show them and tell them what they should do. This isn’t wrong, but one should not forget that children have an innate curiosity - the desire to learn about the world, and this must be supported.

It is important to show all possible, dissimilar options for solving any problem - whether it is a route home or an unusual way of performing familiar actions. This will teach your little one how to be creative. Sometimes it’s more useful not telling a child how to play with the toy at all - they’ll find more ways to play than simply what you taught them.

Our advice will come in handy in the future, too. Try to remember such simple but important things as often as possible. We’ll do our best to remind you as well.
