Talk and sing to your baby

Talking to your baby is one of the most important ways you can help develop your baby’s brain. 

This may seem surprising, or at least not obvious. After all, infants cannot talk and they do not seem to understand much. 

 However, talking, reading and singing help your baby:

• Focus, listen and understand
• Learn to talk
• Connect to you – and help you connect to your baby
